OK, Sorry, I know this is so NOT video related but...

I have 2 days to arrange a Star Wars Birthday Party for my sons 8th Birthday with virtually no budget.

All we have come up with so far is "Pin the Light Saber on the Jedi" - Which I still need to draw.

That's right, our resident poll dancer has finally reached the status of gold star. What's even more incredible is that he did it in under 2 months!!! I still don't know if that avatar is of a baby or of a strange looking grown man. Hopefully it's the first one...

So let's all give stick him with a big, hot, juicy, hard and throbbin' congratulations.

Maybe with some more tenure he can have a quality party host that has the time to create awesome pictures.

ROOSEVELT PARK, Mich. -- Liam Hoekstra was hanging upside down by his feet when he performed an inverted sit-up, his shirt falling away to expose rippled abdominal muscles.

It was a display of raw power one might expect to see from an Olympic gymnast.

Liam is 19 months old.

But this precocious, 22-pound boy with coffee-colored skin, curly hair and washboard abs is far from a typical toddler.

"He could do the iron cross when he was 5 months old," said his adoptive mother, Dana Hoekstra of Roosevelt Park. She was referring to a difficult gymnastics move in which a male athlete suspends himself by his arms between two hanging rings, forming the shape of a cross.

"I would hold him up by his hands and he would lift himself into an iron cross. That's when we were like, 'Whoa, this is weird,'" Hoekstra said.

OK, obviously this article tells little about why these kids were taken from their parents. But even the local Sgt. who knows their dad stated he's never seen anything wrong with the family.

As much as I may not agree with naming your kids "Hitler" or "Aryan", this is a free country the last time I checked. And you can name your kid "Jesus" so why not "Hitler"?

For those of you with kids, or those of you without children, or blankfist who is shooting blanks, I would like to know what you feel about telling your child about the myth of Santa.

I was raised believing in Santa, and while I'm an asshole at times, I grew up OK. I don't remember really being heartbroken about it once I found out the truth. In fact, I remember figuring it out and not telling my parents I had figured it out so that I'd still receive more presents. Much to my surprise, I still got gifts from "Santa" after they found I had no more faith in him. In fact, when I visit my parents for Christmas, there's still a stocking filled by Santa as well as a gift or two from him as well.

I would like to know your thoughts on this though. I mean, after a child figures out the truth, could they lose trust and an overall respect for their parents' word? As, one day, I may have little ones of my own I would like to know others' opinions on this issue.

The big candy day is less than 2 days here in the U.S. I have a wagon full of candy for the hundred or so little ghouls in my neighborhood.

I have a zombie doctor and a zombie geek this year. (we have a thing for zombies )

Don't say either. For example Wonder Showzen is about kids (features kids), but definitely not for kids.

My kids love it when I show them sifts. Occasionally I'll let them browse the Kids channel. Well it's been awhile.

The Featured Member Comment shouldn't be on the Kids Channel for obvious reasons

So.. is the only option to filter the feature comment off like I would NSFW? It would be nice if the channel itself was safe for kids w/o having set filters...

Right now the meaning of the kids channel seems to be ambiguous. To some submitters it seems to indicate videos about kids and to others videos for kids. As a parent I love watching videos on the kids channel with my 4 yo daughter, but lately only half of the videos are appropriate for her. I would love to see the purpose clarified and possibly a new channel created so that there is an obvious "for kids" channel available for posters.
