DO THE RIGHT THING was the reason I fell in love with movies in the first place, but Spike really needs to stop repeating himself.
That's an almost exact copy of the epithets the characters in that movie spit out in succession before Sam Jackson tells 'em to "chill". Even INSIDE MAN had those same silly Spike Lee "trademark" camera moves.

yeh krupo, that's one of the downsides of clipping from movies -- the context is lost, and sometimes the significance of the clip is lost with it, or muddied by its loss.
fyi, here is the official plot synopsis of 25th Hour: The 25th Hour depicts the last day of freedom for a young man before he begins serving a seven-year jail term for drug dealing. Prowling through the city until dawn with his two close male friends and his girlfriend, he is forced to re-examine his life and how he got himself into his predicament, which leads to a shocking, disturbing finale.

Classic scene. Yes its a replay fo the scene from Do the right thing but its so fitting given what Monty feels at the time, he wants to blame someone or everyone for his ordeal yet comes to the realization that he is the only one at fault...
